We did our grocery shopping for the next week today. At our usual time, early Saturday morning because it is usually quiet then and not a lot of people. The parking lot was a lot fuller than normal. Inside the store it was packed. Lines to the check-outs went way out into the main aisle and most of them, if not all were open. Nancy looked at me and said, "What is going on?"

We found everything we needed but some shelves looked a little sparse. Fruit and veggies were well stocked. Canned goods looked a little thin. Same with paper products. The meat coolers had plenty but were not full like they usually are. I had a discussion with the meat counter worker and I asked him if we were buying them out faster than they could replace things. He said it started two days ago but they had plenty of meat products just did not have enough people to restock the coolers fast enough. People seem to be stocking up on paper products and things that have a long shelf life like canned goods and taco and fajita kits. Stay safe every but keep having fun.
