Glenn Greenwald - Pulitzer Prize?
Glenn use to be on my daily reading list years ago. He had a falling out with the conservative point of view and I moved on and for many of the reasons in the article that are critical of him. This is an interesting discussion on Glenn "For his poignant and intrepid rebuke of the American media’s obsession with a false narrative."

Always love me a good story about the media so I shared it.

The NYT Times ... at it again.
NYT reporter wonders how Twitter’s going to handle this fake news about Joe Biden being creepy

An excellent essay - The Cultural Borg

"We are the Cultural Borg.
You will be assimilated.
Existence, as you know it, is over.
Lower your borders and surrender your guns.
We will add your biological and technological distinctiveness to our own.
Your culture will adapt to service us.
Resistance is racist."

Joy Reid and the definition of a "Classical Liberal"
A total smackdown of Reid.
A message to the never Trumpers and liberals from some people on the street who understand, what happened and why, last November.

Uncommon Thoughts from common folks.

Evan Sayet on Trump: "He Fights"

This is a very good "Compare and Contrast" type of article. My thoughts are that Trump had to fight and defeat the existing GOP establishment first then take on the Democrats and the Clinton election war machine, including the main stream media. So now, having won the election, he is trying to govern against the established GOP and the Democrats in congress. Oh and the Mainstream media and members of the prior administration as well. No wonder the gloves came off early in the campaign and remain off.

My biggest fear with a Trump presidency was would he be able to govern effectively. I thought the obstacles to accomplish that would be his CEO ego and thinking he was the boss of a large corporation. Boy was I wrong. I see none of that. I see a President who split the GOP on the way to his nomination and a President who defeated the Liberal and Progressive media darling Hillary Clinton in a stunning defeat. And boy are they pissed. Now fighting not only the war of public opinion, with the help of the media, he is fighting against his own party the GOP, the entrenched Democrats and the powers that be in all the federal government departments that hate all things MAGA. Just my take on things. Time will tell who wins in the long run.

"So, to my friends on the Left – and the #NeverTrumpers as well -- do I wish we lived in a time when our president could be “collegial” and “dignified” and “proper”?  Of course I do.   These aren’t those times.  This is war.  And it’s a war that the Left has been fighting  without opposition for the past 50 years.

So, say anything you want about this president – I get it, he can be vulgar, he can be crude, he can be undignified at times.  I don’t care.  I can’t spare this man.  He fights."

When Bill Whittle Speaks,

I listen:

America is great. But what does it mean? Does it mean Equal Opportunity, and yes I think it does, or Equal Outcome, or how our government is trying to make things and failing badly.

What I have been reading lately.

From Author John C. Wright The Count to the Eschaton Sequence.

The sixth and last book is due out right before Christmas this year.

Oh the Befits of State Run Healthcare!
We, America, have lost our way if we let the State run our healthcare.

Link: Read and decide for yourself.

By the way this is the second link to David L. Burkhead's blog "The Writer in Black" today. He is on a roll. I have added him to my blog roll.

Math : It's not just for breakfast anymore.

The Awesomeness of this article cannot be measured. But hey math is hard and progressive viewpoints outweigh any logic dictated or deduced by math. No wonder they want "The New Math" taught in schools so no one will figure stuff like this out and see behind the Progressive smoke screen as they turn us into some form of socialized Europe.

Story Linked here. There is math involved. You have been warned

Trump is in their heads

It is hard to argue with this train of thought. In my opinion this is a great summation of where we are as a country right now.

I'm tired - a great rant by a retired marine, from "The Old Jarhead" blog, who is tired of many things. Most of which I can agree with. Dated but still relevant. Enjoy.

A quote from the fourth paragraph my favorite:

"I’m tired of being told how bad America is by leftwing millionaires like Michael Moore, George Soros and Hollywood entertainers who live in luxury because of the opportunities America offers. In thirty years, if they get their way, the United States will have the religious freedom and women’s rights of Saudi Arabia, the economy of Zimbabwe, the freedom of the press of China, the crime and violence of Mexico, the tolerance for Gay people of Iran, and the freedom of speech of Venezuela. Won’t multiculturalism be beautiful?"

Another example of the ineffectiveness of big money central government policies failing. It is beginning to feel like the more money they spend on these programs the bigger the failure.
